ProdataKey (PDK), the manufacturer of the cloud access control platform built for mobile, continues to grow its line of Red high-security access control hardware with the introduction of Red Aux 8.
Aux 8 is an input/output board designed to expand the footprint of PDK systems by conveniently extending support to auxiliary devices that require control and monitoring.
Site-Wide solution
Door position sensors, motion sensors, alarm intrusion sensors, elevator controls, push buttons, and more can be connected to the board's eight inputs and eight outputs through wet or dry contact relays to create a more comprehensive, site-wide solution. It can also connect to electric strikes and mag locks, bringing access control to doors that don't require a reader.

Built with PDK Red technology, Aux 8 has built-in Ethernet connectivity and self-discovery to simplify IP configuration and functionality.
Like other devices in the Red lineup, it includes supervised connectivity, power, and health monitoring. Wireless and PoE++ communication is available with the PDK wireless or PDK PoE++ module kits.
High-Security hardware
Aux 8 comes within its own enclosure, but is also available as an expander board that fits within the fully customizable Red Max. Use multiple boards to create a completely scalable solution.
