AlliedBarton Security Services welcomed military veterans, reservists, their family members and caregivers to a hiring event at Warfighter & Family Readiness, FSH Army Community Service Office, in coordination with Hero 2 Hired, an ESGR & Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program.

More than 50 military service men and women attended the job fair at Joint Base San Antonio - Fort Sam Houston.

The event also included an Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Statement of Support signing, affirming AlliedBarton's commitment to hiring and supporting Guard and Reserve members. The AlliedBarton San Antonio team was joined by Caryl Hill, Area Chairman, Texas Committee, ESGR.

"Supportive employers like AlliedBarton are critical to maintaining the readiness and strength of the nation's Guard and Reserve units and allow Guardsmen and Reservists the opportunity to serve our country more effectively and with greater peace of mind," said Eddy Spurgin, Texas ESGR State Chairman. "By signing a Statement of Support, AlliedBarton sends a clear message that they stand committed to their military employees and recognize the integrity, global perspective and proven leadership they bring to the workplace."

Raushenberger is a veteran of the United States Air Force, with 25 years of experience in security forces and training. He was nominated for this award by a fellow AlliedBarton employee and service member.

"By working with organizations such as H2H and the ESGR, we are able to expand our reach and connect with numerous veterans and reservists looking for civilian careers," said Mike Embree, AlliedBarton Vice President of Operations. "It is rewarding to see our employees recognized for their military support efforts, as they are truly what have made us a top Military Friendly Company."
