David R. Triber, Vice President, Legal Affairs, HID GlobalHID Global, the trusted leader in providing solutions for the delivery of secure identity, recently announced that David R. Triber has been named Vice President, Legal Affairs, reporting to Dr. Tam Hulusi, Senior Vice President, Strategic Innovation and Intellectual Property. 

In this newly created position, Mr. Triber will be responsible for managing the legal affairs of the global enterprise, and identifying and developing legal compliance policies for the growing organization.  He will also manage the company's diverse base of outside counsel and provide legal counsel to the executive and management team.

"The creation of David's position reveals HID Global's commitment to building infrastructure to support international growth and maturation," said Dr. Tam Hulusi. 

Prior to joining HID Global, Mr. Triber was Director, Legal Affairs for Kofax Image Products, Inc.  He has also previously held positions as Senior Counsel - Products Law and Counsel - Corporate Brands and Marketing at Sun Microsystems, Inc.  

Mr. Triber holds a BA in Philosophy from UC Irvine and an MA from UC Santa Barbara.  He obtained a JD from UC Hastings.  He is licensed to practice law in the State of California and will be based out of HID Global's Irvine, California headquarters.
