The Indian subsidiary of Unilever recently moved its corporate office within the city of Mumbai to a new ultramodern campus, which is spread over 12.5 acres of land and will house over 1600 employees. The campus offers various facilities to employees including convenience stores, a library, a food court, an occupational health centre, a gym and a day care centre. The idea behind the move was to integrate various business processes under ‘One HUL Campus' and to concentrate the divisions of the organization in one place.
Considering that a state-of-the-art campus needs a state-of-the-art security solution, HUL decided to choose Nedap AEOS as the company's security management system. To make sure that the company's intelligence is well protected, approximately 120 doors are secured with AEOS, whereas the gates that give access to the campus are equipped with Nedap long range vehicle identification readers. Furthermore, AEOS visitor management has been implemented including the pre-registration of visitors by HUL employees. The AEOS system was implemented by Nedap's business partner in Mumbai.
