Hikvision Announces Contract Renewal Of Chongqing Project To Upgrade And Expand Existing Security Systems

HIkvision will continue offering their expertise in security for safe city construction in other parts of China

Hikvision, a world's leading supplier of video surveillance products and solutions, is pleased to announce that it has recently entered into contract renewal of Chongqing's safe city program with the total investment of the contracts reached to 1.2 billion US dollars (RMB 7.7 billion).

Since last November Hikvision was appointed as general contractor of Chongqing's safe city program aiming to create a secured environment for Chongqing by upgrading and expanding the existing security system.

The successful implementation of this safe city program is the direct result of Hikvision recognized for the value that combined capabilities and expertise bring in meeting the needs of the businesses. This project will greatly help to boost Hikvision's performance in future years, and will also facilitate Hikvision to continue offering their expertise for safe city construction in other parts of China, as well as enhance Hikvision's capacity to provide massive scale video surveillance projects in vertical markets.
