Siemens demonstration and training facilities at its South Wales
Siemens Security Products has just completed a full refurbishment of the demonstration and training facilities
In a clear indication of its commitment to success and customer investment Siemens Security Products has just completed a full refurbishment of the demonstration and training facilities at its South Wales Headquarters.

The substantial investment made by Siemens will demonstrate to customers that the company is advancing its offerings, as the market demands. The new facilities provide an environment to not only showcase its products, but also demonstrate real working concepts and solutions and how they can best fit into various end user markets such as, airports, stadiums and hospitals etc.

"We know we have great solutions", says Alistair Enser, Sales and Marketing Director for Siemens Security Products, "but often the best way to understand them is to see them working in a real life environment. This new facility is as much for our customers and partners as it is for their customers, to help bring confidence and understanding of these newer technologies. With a range to suit low, medium or enterprise applications, Siemens really does have the products and systems to fulfill the needs and requirements of any customer."

On show are all three product disciplines from the Siemens portfolio which include CCTV, Access Control and Intrusion Detection. Through a central command and control position all the individual disciplines can be scaled and demonstrated in various configurations to suit any requirement.

Access Control shows the benefits and simplicity of the Siemens SiPass range, such as the upgrade from a single door solution to an enterprise level using a common platform, whilst also being fully networked and linked to the Signet

Intrusion and Sistore DVR range.

From a CCTV perspective a video monitor wall allows direct comparison between IP and analog solutions viewing the same internal and external cameras, whilst demonstrating the differences between virtual matrices and traditional analog systems.

Traditional Bewator products such as the highly acclaimed Eventys DVR or the Granta Security Management System, which protects over 250,000 doors globally, are also available to complete the experience.
