Honeywell recently announced several new features for Le Sucre™ wireless security systems using Honeywell Cloud Services to enhance the capabilities and customer preferences for the popular security solution.

Developed in response to homeowners changing needs, Le Sucre with Honeywell Cloud Services now offers a complete self-monitoring and remote service solution that can be placed anywhere in the home. Supported by Honeywell Cloud Services, the system also provides homeowners with a quality self-monitoring security system based on radio frequency (RF) technology.

Text Message Notifications

New features include text message notifications, in addition to email notification services, when an alarm is triggered. This optional service is easy for users to set up using the Total Connect 2.0E app, and is available for a two year period that can be renewed.

Le Sucre and Total Connect 2.0E can also now report the temperature of rooms where a wireless passive infrared (PIR) sensor is installed, such as standard PIR (IR8M), pet-immune version (IRPI8M) or pet-immune PIR with camera (CAMIR-F1). All these sensors include temperature measurement capabilities that are communicated to the Honeywell Cloud via Le Sucre, enabling homeowners to track the temperature on their smartphone or tablet wherever they are using the Total Connect app.

Gives Homeowners More Color Choices

Red, blue, yellow and black proximity fobs for arming/disarming have also been introduced – joining the ivory and gray choices already available – to give homeowners more color choices.

“These new features and design enhancements are examples of how we listen to our customers and adapt our offering when new features are needed,” said Tristan Poinsard, product marketing manager at Honeywell Security Group. “At Honeywell, providing choice and an excellent customer experience are an integral part of our focus.”

Le Sucre and Honeywell Cloud Services are now available to order in Western Europe, Eastern Europe and Nordic countries.
