Axis Cross Line Application in connection with the MULTIEYE® software
artec technologies AG will support the cross line function offered by Axis
artec technologies AG has announced that from now on the Cross Line Function offered by Axis will be supported.

The new application, which now is available for AXIS P3301 and AXIS P3301-V, allows the virtual display of a trip line. If a moving object passes over this line an event can be activated. The MULTIEYE® HYBRID/NET software in connection with the new software module "MULTIEYE® Sensorik Konnektor" starts, for e.g., an alarm recording on the basis of the information received via TCP/IP.

The application of Cross Line Function results in a reduction in the required storage capacity and optimization of the band width usage in the overall system. According to Axis, further camera types will be equipped with the Cross Line function in the next few months.

"The Axis Cross Line Application in connection with the MULTIEYE® software offers various possibilities for our customers. In the field of rarely frequented traffic areas and access areas it will be possible e.g. to open barriers at low costs.  (Replacement of comparatively expensive induction loops). The support of this application once again shows the high flexibility of our software products," comments Jens Ringlstetter, VP Sales & Marketing, artec technologies AG.
