The HandPunch GT-400 can be configured to meet virtually any networking need or online operation with its Ethernet connectivity
Handpunch allows oraganization to record and verify an employee's punch by the size and shape of their hand in real-time

Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies recently announced that SwipeClock, a web-based timekeeping solution provider and manufacturer of TimeClock™, WebClock™, FlexClock® and VoiceClock™, has extended its line of timekeeping solutions by adding the Schlage biometric HandPunch GT-400. The new terminal is twenty percent smaller than previous hand geometry units, yet includes a large ATM-style display. It’s a sophisticated timekeeping solution that allows organizations to record and verify an employee’s punch by the size and shape of their hand in real-time.

The HandPunch GT-400 is extremely user-friendly. The device’s platen features a printed hand outline to ensure accurate hand placement while punching. The platen, keypad and function keys are also infused with an antimicrobial agent to reduce bacterial build-up by up to 99.9 percent over a 24-hour period. Further, the terminal’s ATM-style interface and large, bright 3.8-inch display allow for efficient, flexible and dynamic data collection.  Employees can easily follow prompt information and/or input labor data. There is also a built-in relay for ringing a bell.

For employers, implementing biometrics to automate the collection of time and attendance data can eliminate “buddy punching” (one employee clocking in/out for another), manual data verification and payroll errors, resulting in tremendous savings. Additionally, the HandPunch GT-400 biometric terminal can be configured to meet virtually any networking need or online operation with its standard 10/100 Ethernet connectivity, eliminating the expense of installing new cabling while benefitting from accelerated data processing time.
