The 9th ASIS International European Security Conference will take place on 18-21 April 2010 in Lisbon, Portugal. The conference will feature more than 33 high-level educational sessions that will provide valuable new insights and perspectives on security challenges faced regionally in Europe, as well as those that extend globally.

Around 500 senior security professionals from Europe and around the world, corporate executives, consultants, architects and law enforcement officials are expected to participate.

The conference will cover the entire spectrum of security topics ranging from piracy, supply chain security, loss prevention, terrorism, executive protection, intellectual property rights, hotel and building security, and more. Abstracts can be submitted on this link. The deadline for submissions is 10 October 2009. Presentations for the conference will be selected by the Lisbon programme committee in December 2009.

The conference will also be the opportunity for vendor companies to present case studies, product demonstrations and best practices in limited number of sponsored speaking tracks. More information about this and other opportunities for companies to raise their visibility is available on the website or through the European Bureau.
