Marc Benson joins sales team of SIA
Benson will be responsible for selling memberships, sponsorships, market reports and other SIA products
The Security Industry Association (SIA) has hired Marc Benson, a salesman with more than 20 years of experience, to join its sales staff.

Benson spent 12 years at the Newspaper Association of America (NAA) in Northern Virginia where he rose to the position of Senior Director for Association Sales. While at the NAA, he generated more than $2 million dollars annually selling products that included sponsorships, print/online advertising, memberships and exhibits. He previously worked as a Senior Account Executive for The Washington Times, which named him ‘Salesman of the Month' five times and co-op salesman of the year once. He has also been an award-winning salesman with The Georgetown Courier, Et Cetera Communications and Sentinel Publications.

"Marc is an extremely skilled salesman, as demonstrated by his long record of success, and he has great enthusiasm," SIA Chief Marketing Officer Ray Wisniewski said. "We are very happy to welcome him to SIA."

Benson holds the position of Sales Manager. Along with fellow SIA sales manager Alain Taylor, he will sell memberships, sponsorships, market reports and other SIA products.
