Every new unit of Samsung Techwin's iPOLiS range of IP/network products will be ONVIF compliant
ONVIF is an open industry forum for the development of a global standard for the interface of network video products. It is committed to the adoption of network video in the security market and the ONVIF standard is intended to ensure interoperability between network video products regardless of the manufacturer.

James Smith, European Marketing Manager of Samsung Techwin's professional security division, commenting on the company's appointment to ONVIF, said: "Samsung Techwin's iPOLiS range of IP/network products will be heavily bolstered over the coming months with every new unit being ONVIF compliant. We are very pleased to be able to provide users with the widest possible choice by ensuring interoperability with a host of other equipment".

As a full member of ONVIF, Samsung Techwin will have the opportunity to actively participate in the development of the standard into the future.
