Paxton Access Limited, a market leader in the design and manufacture of electronic access control systems, has announced a further expansion to its field sales team.  Dave Smith joined the company at the beginning of October and is responsible for the South West and Midlands region.  Prior to Paxton Access, Dave worked for Initial Fire and Security specifying intruder alarm, CCTV, access control and other security systems to end users and electrical contractors.

With almost ten years' experience in the security and allied industries Dave Smith brings a wealth of experience to Paxton Access.  Former employers include Initial, ADT, Caudwell Group and Delta Fire Systems.  "I am enormously excited by the challenge," he says.  "I'm looking to use my experiences from the different sectors of the industry and be a useful resource to my customers."

"Dave's depth and breadth of experience comes to Paxton Access at a fascinating time for the access control industry," believes Adam Stroud, Paxton Access' Sales and Marketing Director.  "We are finding that access control systems are being integrated with other building services systems with increasing frequency.  And so I am sure our customers will appreciate Dave's extensive knowledge of the security industry."
