With the new security product line of the PS-100u Series, Swissbit AG is extending its successful flash memory product line by dedicated security products. This storage solution in Micro SD form factor enables highly secure solutions by an embedded secure element. Solution providers can turn mobile and embedded systems into secure devices by using the Swissbit secure Micro SD as root of trust.
The new PS-100u product family comprises of 3 editions suitable for PKI, voice encryption and contactless use cases.
The Standard Edition PS-100u SE fits best into authentication and PKI use cases. The card is supported by leading middleware vendors in mobile, desktop and tablet use cases to ensure a seamless design in into existing security infrastructures.
The Voice Edition PS-100u VE provides Elliptic Curve Cryptography. The big computation and security advantage combined with small certificate sizes make the PS-100u VE card ideal for online key- and certificate exchange like it is crucial for high performance secure voice solutions.
In terminals the Contactless card PS-100u CL could be connected with an external antenna and communicate via ISO 14443 contactless protocol with all NFC smart phones for wallet, payment, ePurse and banking applications.
The PS-100u Series is equipped with a CC EAL 5+ smart card chip with a CC EAL 5+ certified Java Card OS of the latest standard. The list of supported platforms comprises of Windows 7/8/Vista/XP, Android and BlackBerry, which can be flexibly extended upon request. The available storage densities are 4GB and 8GB in speed class 10.
Swissbit offers in-house system, storage and security expertise for B2B partners, solution providers and value added resellers. Secure Flash Card samples are already available and start of production is in January 2014.
